What is Facial Acupuncture?

Facial acupuncture, sometimes called cosmetic acupuncture or facial rejuvenation, combines traditional acupuncture with targeted cosmetic effects. Very fine filiform needles are placed into specific muscle groups and motor points (where nerves enter the muscles) to either relax or activate them, combined with traditional acupuncture points for a healthy glow from the inside out. This encourages fresh blood flow, helping reduce wrinkles, scars, blemishes, and dullness.

Beyond aesthetics, facial acupuncture can be deeply emotional and therapeutic. Our faces hold the imprint of every emotion we've expressed or suppressed. Releasing the tension in these muscles can bring about an emotional release to help patients feel more at ease in their bodies.

Before and After

  • Smooth and Lift

Sleep, stress, nutrition, and hormones can all play a part in signs of fatigue.

Facial acupuncture can treat the delicate skin around the eyes indirectly and bolster its appearance.

  • Clear and Revive

Redness and texture can slowly form over time without us even noticing. Our lifestyles, our environment, and our emotional space can all add to changes in our skin.

  • Plump and Brighten

Our natural expression lines are amazing. They show parts of our journey through life. But sometimes we want to look to the future and not the past.

These areas can be addressed by building elastin and collagen in the desired areas over time.
